“Despite the many difficulties all businesses are currently facing, 2020 has been a great year for Sorcero,” said Sorcero CEO Dipanwita Das. “We are growing our DC-based team as we continue to drive digital transformation in the insurance and life science industries with our Language Intelligence Platform. It’s a real honor to be recognized by DC Inno and be included on a list with so many other innovative and dynamic companies.”
The Sorcero Language Intelligence Platform represents a breakthrough in linguistic Artificial Intelligence, providing a domain understanding of scientific and medical language in the insurance and life science sectors. Earlier this year, Sorcero raised a $3.5 million round of funding as the company’s revenue has grown 500% over the first half of the year.
DC Inno's "50 on Fire" list honors the top people and companies that are heating up the District's innovation economy, and the Blazer award is given to a cpmpany in each category. The winners were selected by the team based on nominations, growth, and editorial coverage. All winners were celebrated at a virtual "50 on Fire" event.
