Sorcero Announces AI Guardrails, AI-Native Data Capture, and Insights Analytics to Transform Life Sciences Workflows

Company’s Fall product update introduces powerful new features to bolster how life sciences organizations generate, manage, and act on insights

WASHINGTON, D.C. – October 16, 2025  Sorcero, a pioneer of AI-powered intelligence solutions for the life sciences industry, today announced significant enhancements to the Sorcero Intelligence Platform, including AI guardrails, AI-native data capture, and insight performance analytics. These enhancements grant new capabilities to all of Sorcero’s product suites: Sorcero Medical™, Sorcero SciComms™, Sorcero Safety™, and Sorcero MedTech™. These updates underscore the organization's ongoing commitment to empowering the industry with cutting-edge tools that transform how therapies get to market, accelerate content production, and improve patient outcomes in life sciences while meeting stringent regulatory requirements.

"These latest enhancements mark a significant milestone in Sorcero's mission to transform how life sciences companies manage data, discover insights, and generate scientific content," said Dipanwita Das, CEO and Co-founder. "By combining responsible AI with intuitive, customizable tools, we're helping teams across the organization move faster, collaborate smarter, and unlock the full potential of their scientific data while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and security."

Bolstering Compliance with AI Guardrails and Access Controls

One of the primary obstacles to enterprise adoption of AI is the need to support compliant and responsible use of AI, especially in regulated industries such as life sciences. After introducing Sorcero Agentic AI earlier this year, which included a dedicated hallucination detection agent, Sorcero is unveiling additional AI guardrails in this product update to help life sciences companies meet rigorous IT requirements as well as new access control features to enable tailored insights management processes in their organizations.

Prohibited Intent Detection helps teams maintain compliance with confidence, ensuring responsible, transparent use of AI across global Medical Affairs organizations. This new safeguard automatically detects and flags non-compliant queries from medical affairs users and guides those users to ask questions in a compliant, non-promotional manner.

Sorcero continues to add features to make Sorcero the enterprise-ready choice for life sciences. Groups provide the first in a series of access control enhancements, enabling organizations to control access to individual Sorcero Projects. Further Role-Based Access Controls are planned for Q1 2026, giving administrators even greater control over who can access information and features in Sorcero.

Additionally, the company has launched its Trust Center and Procurement Information Center, providing transparent access to security documentation, compliance reports, and certifications including SOC 2 Type II, GDPR & DPF compliance, and ISO 27001 certification.

AI-Native Data Capture

Field teams and Medical Science Liaisons need faster, easier ways to capture insights where and when they happen. Existing tools for field data capture such as CRMs require numerous structured data fields to complete, creating friction in the data entry process. In addition, many non-field personnel who want to enter notes to be shared with the broader team cannot do so because they lack access to CRM systems.

With Sorcero's new AI-native Data Capture features, collecting insights from the field has never been faster or easier. Sorcero Users can now add notes directly from the Stakeholder Profile Page for key opinion leaders (KOLs) and other healthcare professionals. Users can now enter notes in free form text without onerously selecting from required drop-down fields that other systems employ. The Sorcero platform automatically enriches data with relevant topics, Intelligent Medical Themes™, and Scientific Sentiment™. This saves time and encourages teams to capture key information when and where it matters most.

This is just the beginning. A forthcoming iOS app (launching Winter 2025/26) will extend this capability even further, enabling teams to capture records and insights on the go, right from a mobile device. Together, these advancements make insight capture seamless, inclusive, and effortless, empowering every member of a Medical Affairs team to contribute to the organization's insight ecosystem in real time.

Full-Lifecycle Insights Management

Medical Affairs and Safety teams face a persistent challenge: systematically managing their insights process. Many teams still use spreadsheets and are struggling to keep up with the demands of a modern, global organization. Sorcero's latest enhancements enable customers to customize Insights Manager to align with their unique business processes and quantifiably track and measure their progress.

Customizable Insight Stages allow teams to configure stages in Sorcero Insights Manager to match their organization’s specific insight workflow, using their own terminology. This flexibility ensures clarity, alignment, and consistency across all levels of insight management.

Insights Analytics provides comprehensive analytics and reporting capabilities. Teams can now track insights by stage, monitor trends over time, view records-to-insights ratios, and analyze insights by evidence source, healthcare professional (HCP), therapeutic area, or owner/creator. This enhancement demonstrates how data transforms into actionable intelligence and helps Medical Affairs teams prove the value and impact of their work more effectively than ever before.

Platform Enhancements

In addition to the major new capabilities described above, Sorcero continues to make enhancements across the Sorcero Intelligence Platform:

  • Scalability. Sorcero has dramatically expanded platform capacity and performance to support enterprise-scale deployments. The Insights Generator now analyzes up to 10,000 Records per query (up from 750), ranking Records by relevance and focusing on the ~3,000 most pertinent results. Data ingestion is now 4.6x faster for datasets of 100,000+ records and 3x faster for 10,000-record datasets.
  • Updates for Literature Monitoring. Automated daily article imports from PubMed and EuropePMC keep projects current with the latest scientific literature. Teams using Sorcero Medical™, SciComms™, and Safety™ product suites can configure search criteria to automatically populate relevant publications, ensuring they never miss critical research developments, emerging narratives, or new safety signals.
  • Upgraded embedded analytics. Sorcero is enhancing its embedded analytics platform to provide more interactive dashboards with better drill-down to individual records, faster dashboard authoring, faster deployment through dashboard templates, and more export options. Phase 1 is underway with new capabilities expected this quarter.
  • Redesigned navigation. The main navigation is being moved from the top of the application to a left sidebar, creating a unified experience for insights management and making it easier for users to access all platform features from a single, consistent location.
  • Custom Attribute Filtering enables users to leverage their organization's unique Custom Attributes and Custom Stakeholder Attributes to filter data with multi-value support, with data-type-specific filter controls coming soon.

Conclusion

"What sets Sorcero apart is our deep understanding of how life sciences organizations actually work," said Nithi Vivatrat, Chief Product Officer at Sorcero. "From field teams capturing insights on the fly to leadership demonstrating strategic value, we've built every feature with real-world workflows in mind. The result is a platform that not only breaks down barriers to AI adoption but makes the entire insights lifecycle more efficient and measurable."

These latest enhancements mark a significant milestone in Sorcero’s mission to transform how life sciences organizations generate, manage, and act on insights. By combining responsible AI with intuitive, customizable tools, Sorcero continues to redefine what’s possible for Medical Affairs teams and helps them move faster, collaborate smarter, and unlock the full potential of their scientific data.
