Sorcero is continuing to scale our team to meet the rapidly increasing demand for our AI-powered Language Intelligence platform. The company has made several new hires to drive capacity and expand the domain expertise of the team.
As Vice President of Machine Learning, Sandra Carrico ensures Sorcero's technology meets and exceeds state-of-the-art performance for its AI features. Previously, Sandra was Principal AI Architect at Anthem where she led the TeleHealthOS product and prescription prior authorization improvement project. While at Gynt.ai, she invented Mixed Formal Learning, an architecture that enabled a novel state-of-the-art algorithm for extracting data from forms. The Glynt algorithm currently reports less than a 1% error. She also served as VP of Engineering at a number of startups following her engineering management and R&D positions at AT&T Bell Labs and AT&T Labs.
Faye Zheng joins Sorcero as Director of Product, Analytics, and AI. Faye's academic foundation is in developing applied statistical methodologies for bioinformatics. Her professional origins are in the data science realm, both as a director and technical contributor. Currently, on the product side, her specialty is balancing the strategic with the tactical -- partnering daily with both engineering and commercial leadership to make strategic decisions about the product roadmap, defining and prioritizing requirements for the team, and hypothesizing creative prototypes to thorny product challenges.
Ilana Lasday, Sorcero's new Operations Manager, is a quintessential "Jack of All Trades" who excels at building highly efficient, productive, and collegial work environments. Her natural people, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills enable her to smoothly navigate the daily demands of staff, vendors, and administration. Through her previous experience at Social Tables and Dataminr, Ilana has a deep understanding of how to bridge the people, operations, and tech needs of startups. In addition, Ilana's experience in the field of international travel provides her with unique insights and experience in integrating a diverse global workforce into one cohesive work culture.
Vishruth Raj is an AI Engineering Intern at Sorcero. His main focus is on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and summarization. Vishruth's prior experience includes a research internship position with Dr. Anam Iftekhar at the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay.
