MAY RELEASE

Last modified 2024.3

In this release, we’re enhancing AI-powered Instant Insights Engine, updating Sorcero Analytics & Dashboards, and releasing an important infrastructure update.  Insight Insights Engine (IIE) can now answer questions  that combine structured and unstructured data! IIE previously helped you make sense of unstructured data, such as the insights gathered by MSLs from your HCPs, notes in your CRM system, and transcripts of Advisory Boards. With awareness of all the structured data, such as dates, geographies, and KOL characteristics, IIE can now tell more comprehensive data stories, answer specific questions about HCPs and regions, and give more accurate and detailed answers to accelerate report development. On the infrastructure side, we are launching massive improvements to our customer data security models that will put us at the forefront of secure, private, and compliant AI.

What’s New

Instant Insights Engine Beta: Metadata Awareness
Instant Insights Engine now takes into account relevant metadata when generating responses. Previously, IIE helped you generate insights from the text content within your data but not associated metadata. This limited Sorcero’s ability to answer questions about a record’s attribute such as date created or associated country/HCP.

Now, IIE can interpret questions involving standard record attributes and can return these attributes as part of answers where needed. These fields are:

  • Source
  • Record Date
  • Upload Date
  • Therapeutic Area
  • Disease
  • Drug
  • HCP Name
  • Author (MSL Name)
  • Interaction Type
  • Country
  • Region
  • State
  • Stakeholder (HCP) Type
  • Stakeholder Subtype
  • Stakeholder Specialty

Below are a few examples of questions that IIE can now answer with this new metadata awareness:

As a reminder, IIE operates using retrieval augmented generation (RAG) search across a dataset grounded *strictly* in your medical data. For this reason, it will avoid hallucinations and only answer questions it has knowledge of internally, keeping your data and insights secure and private.

KIQs as default dropdown options

You can now store commonly asked questions and/or Key Insight Questions (KIQs)) as dropdown options in Instant Insights Engine. By doing so, teams can easily ask these questions week after week to see if answers have changed based on new data. Admins can configure these dropdowns per project via Project Settings.

Other UX Updates

Dedicated Section for All things HCP Related
Given the central focus of HCPs and quantifying HCP engagement in MIM, we have optimized the Sorcero UX to better display important HCP data. HCP pages now have a persistent “about” section in the sidebar of the List view that shows HCP attributes such as subtype, specialty, and more, directly on the page. Previously, these details were located in the header and required users to expand this section to see more details.

INTERNAL (Admin Only)

Pre-Filtered Charts

Dashboards can now be built and saved with filter conditions. For example, you might want charts preconfigured to filter for a specific asset, region, or date range. This provides us greater ability to deploy Dashboards tailored for specific customer business use cases. In the chart below (an Event Management dashboard), admins can set up a map view to show HCPs that came from ASCO by filtering the chart to Source = ASCO.

Technical Updates (*INTERNAL ONLY*)

SOC2

  • Sorcero has completed our SOC2 Type 2 audit. Through 3rd-party verification, this audit helps us demonstrate organizational maturity and a serious focus on security required by customers in the life sciences space.

Data Infrastructure

  • The engineering team has spent considerable effort planning and executing a security upgrade to our infrastructure. This will ensure even further security for all data, and may position us ahead of competition with regards to secure GenAI.

Known Issues

[Not customer facing since the attribute is only used in our Demo] There is an issue with our indexing that makes it so that IIE is not aware of the HCP KOL Tier attribute for HCPs. If you ask questions about KOL Tier, it will respond that it does not have information to answer that question.

JUNE RELEASE

Known Issues
