This month, we're excited to introduce the Sorcero Agentic Framework and new capabilities to deliver more tailored stakeholder insights and accelerate data ingest.

Introducing AI Agents to the Sorcero Intelligence Platform

The Sorcero Agentic Framework, a breakthrough in Sorcero’s medical AI functionality, transforms how organizations turn siloed data into analysis-ready insights. The framework comprises specialized, medically-tuned agents — purpose-built AI "workers" that each perform a specific function — that actively collaborate like a coordinated, high-functioning medical team. With each agent handling a unique task and leveraging the latest AI models, the Agentic Framework delivers new levels of speed, accuracy, and depth of AI output.

The initial release of the Sorcero Agentic Framework includes the following purpose-built agents:

• ReAct Agent: Central orchestration agent that controls workflows and processes
• Data retrieval agent: Fetches and unifies data from different sources
• Ingestion agent: Handles data cleaning, normalization, and validation
• Tool selector: Selects which tool is needed for data retrieval

Instant Insights Engine: Now Available on HCP/KOL Pages

You can now use Instant Insights Engine directly within stakeholder pages. Navigate to any HCP page and click the Crystal Ball icon to ask a specific question. Sorcero generates insights only based on information tied to this profile, enabling you to quickly see key patterns and surface stakeholder perspectives, interests, and interaction history - without manually reviewing each record.

 

Faster Ingestion of Unstructured Data

This release, we’ve introduced two powerful features that enhance Sorcero's ability to transform unstructured content into analysis-ready data: 

• Ingestion Agent: Part of the Agentic Framework, the ingestion agent automatically cleans, normalizes, and validates data – accelerating the process for extracting unstructured data.

• Document Extraction: With enhanced AI processing capabilities, Sorcero now transforms complex presentations and long-form content in minutes rather than hours. The system intelligently identifies key findings, extracts tables and figures, and contextualizes information within your existing knowledge base, enabling teams to quickly process advisory board transcripts and capture insights from meeting notes that would otherwise remain trapped in local files or CRMs.

This month, we're excited to introduce two powerful new Sorcero features that enhance your ability to analyze Collections and tag important medical themes in your data.

Custom Prompts for Insight Generator

You can now ask specific questions about your Collections with new custom prompt functionality in Insight Generator. This enhancement enables you to:

• Achieve richer and more precise insights by generating outputs based on a specific set of records - such as conference data or records from particular regions
• Discover deeper patterns across data by querying larger sets of records (up to 750)
• Get comprehensive answers that take into account record content and metadata

 

Five New Intelligent Medical Themes (IMTs)

Sorcero IMTs use advanced medically-tuned LLMs –  trained specifically to understand medical language – to identify and tag records of interest. In this release, we've added five new IMTs to help you better organize and analyze your content:

• Market Access: data discussing issues relating to patient accessibility
• Patient Recruitment: data about factors that impact recruitment of participants to clinical trials
• Mechanism of Action (MOA): data about a drug's effect in the body
• Evidence Gap: data highlighting missing or incomplete information about a drug
• Generic Sentiment: data that contains strong sentiment from the HCP about any particular issue

 

 

To access these new Intelligent Medical Themes, enable or disable them through Project Settings. Once enabled, you can:

• Filter and search these new IMTs

• Visualize the IMTs in Theme Charts on dashboards

This month, we're excited to introduce several enhancements that improve data visualization, workflow efficiency, and content management. These updates are designed to provide clearer insights, streamline labeling processes, and enhance collaboration within your team.

Enhanced Map Visualizations: Gradient Legend

The new gradient-style map legend makes it easier to interpret data across regions. With intuitive color gradients that clearly display values ranging from minimum to maximum, teams can better understand data distribution across the map. Now, you can visualize geographical data trends more quickly and accurately.

 

Bulk “Remove Labels” Functionality

Earlier this year, we introduced functionality for adding labels in bulk. Now, we’re introducing the ability to remove labels in bulk, allowing you to:

• Efficiently update labels across multiple records

• Maintain relevant and up-to-date labeling as your data evolves

• Streamline your data management process

How it works:

• Filter records by a specific label in the Records tab

• Once filtered, a new button will appear, allowing you to “bulk remove” the selected label from the filtered set of records

' Must Read ' Flag in Sorcero IPM

You can now flag articles as "Must Read" in IPM, enhancing team collaboration and ensuring important publications don't get overlooked. Once articles are flagged, you can filter to display only “Must Read” articles via Sorcero IPM's search bar.

 

Bug Fixes:

• Resolved an issue where percentage charts occasionally displayed a maximum Y-axis value of 120%
• Fixed a problem where Saved Filters were not retaining sentiment selections

In our August Sorcero release, we’re excited to introduce two significant enhancements to Scientific Sentiment™ in Sorcero MIM. These updates provide deeper insights into sentiment trends across different themes and over time, allowing for more nuanced analysis of your data.

Sentiment by Intelligent Medical Theme™ (IMT) Chart

Teams now have access to a powerful new chart that visualizes Scientific Sentiment by IMT. This horizontal bar chart offers a comprehensive view of the amount of records for each Intelligent Medical Theme, broken down by sentiment. Now, teams can:

• Quickly compare sentiment across different themes
• Identify themes that generate more positive, negative, or neutral sentiment

Percentage View Option for Sentiment Charts

Users now have the ability to view percentages in Scientific Sentiment charts, and can toggle between viewing absolute values and percentage breakdowns. This new display option:

• Normalizes data for easier trend analysis
• Allows for comparison between themes or time periods with different total record counts
• Highlights proportional changes in sentiment, even when overall volume fluctuates

In this release, we are thrilled to announce significant enhancements to our AI features that expand their capabilities. We've also made important internal updates to enhance our data management and customer support processes. These changes continue to strengthen our platform's efficiency, security, and usability.

Faster Time to Insights 

We've implemented a new, more powerful AI model to speed up response times for both Insight Generator and Instant Insights Engine. Users now receive insights 5x faster, with most insights returning in under 10 seconds. This substantial speed increase enables quicker analysis and decision-making based on your data.

Increased Collection Size for Insight Generator

Last month, we introduced the Insight Generator, which automatically summarizes key findings from a Collection in Sorcero. Previously, the Insight Generator was limited to analyzing Collections with a maximum of 50 records. However, teams can now extract insights from Collections containing up to 750 records. This enhancement allows teams to surface insights across a larger set of data, providing more comprehensive and valuable insights.

Insight Generator

Life sciences companies often spend thousands of dollars on agencies to wade through mountains of records and extract key data, only to receive these important findings as static, dense reports.

In this release, we are introducing Insight Generator, which automatically summarizes a Collection in Sorcero using Sorcero’s Instant Insights Engine™. Part of our previous release, Instant Insights Engine lets teams ask questions of their data and instantly receive high-quality answers without manually reading through content. By combining Instant Insights Engine’s powerful summarizing capabilities with Sorcero Collections, teams no longer have to rely on expensive and slow third-party services.

Using Insight Generator
After creating a Collection, click on the crystal ball icon to generate insights based on the Collection’s records. Once Sorcero generates insights, either click to copy for use in a report or save as the Collection’s new description.

Scientific Sentiment

Extracting meaning from volumes of scientific data is labor- and time-intensive. Quickly locating KOL statements containing positive support or serious concerns is difficult. Measuring the change in how KOLs feel about products over time – especially across multiple channels of communication – has been almost impossible. 

To meet this need, we developed Sorcero Scientific Sentiment™ which uses advanced AI models to detect and tag sentiment (positive, negative, or neutral) on safety and efficacy topics across the records in a project. Sorcero Scientific Sentiment overcomes the shortcomings of traditional natural language processing (NLP) and sentiment solutions not built specifically for scientific data.

Insights Manager - limited availability

Insight discovery is a team sport. Medical Affairs teams need to compile insights and evidence, determine which insights are the most actionable, and collaborate on next steps. However, in many organizations, this work is done by emailing documents, presentation decks, and spreadsheets back and forth, or discussing at tough-to-schedule monthly insights meetings. Even more often, this process is entirely delegated to outside agencies – costing thousands of dollars to produce static reports with little transparency.

Now available in this release, Sorcero Insights Manager empowers teams to collaborate on Insights from initial discovery through final action.

Using Insights Manager 
Sorcero previously allowed users to collaboratively build folders of evidence using Collections, accelerating insights report development. Medical Affairs teams can now use Sorcero’s Insights Manager to power their entire insights workflow from data collection to action. Users create Insights and collaboratively collect and discuss supporting evidence. These Insights are then moved through a set of Insight Stages to make your insight process manageable and trackable. To drive collaboration and cooperation, users can have threaded conversations on each Insight.
