Sorcero has entered into a three-year partnership with electrical training ALLIANCE (etA), the largest resource for electrical skill training in the United States. For over 70 years, etA has been the only certification curriculum recognized by the electrical industry's largest labor unions. The organization supports 70,000 electrical contracting firms and 350,000 electrical workers.
Sorcero will bring its unique Language Intelligence technology to drive digital transformation at etA, moving its certification program from a time-based to a competency-based system.
“In response to the changing electrical construction industry, which builds infrastructure and technology that the entire American economy relies on, we are moving from a time-based to a competency-based model,” said etA Director Greg Greiner in a statement. “That approach requires a dynamic, intelligent, and personalized content delivery system, and we believe Sorcero is the right partner to support us in this transformation.”
Using the Sorcero Language Intelligence Platform, electrical professionals will be able to learn remotely through etA's programs.
“etA is now leading the way in applying the next wave of enterprise AI, language intelligence and understanding, to meet the rapidly evolving needs of the electrical sector,” said Sorcero’s founder and CEO, Dipanwita Das. “Sorcero’s platform augments human expertise but maintains the central role of human judgment in providing value to the industries of the future.”

About the Electrical Training ALLIANCE
The electrical training ALLIANCE (previously called NJATC) was created over 70 years ago as a joint training program between the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) aimed at training the best electrical workers the industry has to offer. Today, the electrical training ALLIANCE has developed into the largest apprenticeship and training program of its kind, having trained over 350,000 apprentices to journeyman status through local affiliate programs.
The electrical training ALLIANCE reaches beyond the textbook, incorporating advanced technology in all aspects of training. Blended learning enables students to continue training remotely, bridging the gap between an apprenticeship and learning in the classroom. The electrical training ALLIANCE encourages training centers to embrace new technologies and offers ongoing technical courses to support all facilities using its curriculum. Since instructors and students can connect virtually, training on the go is easier than ever. Blended Learning also enhances the classroom time as Instructors can spend more time with hands-on instruction rather than going over homework.
