Sorcero To Be Recognized on DCA Live’s 2021 Red Hot Companies List

Sorcero was named as “Heating Up” on the 2021 Red Hot Companies List, a collection of the region’s fastest-growing and most exciting companies. This is the third year in a row Sorcero has made the list.

DCA Live is hosting its sixth annual celebratory event this evening to honor the D.C. area start-ups. “Red Hot Companies” is the first large, in-person event it has been able to host since D.C. and Virginia reopened, according to company founder Doug Anderson.

“I think we’ve come out of this pandemic much stronger than we entered it,” Anderson said. “About half-way through the pandemic, it became clear one of the big winners would be tech businesses. They had the infrastructure, and they enabled the world to continue.”

“They had to really focus on what their true value proposition was, who their true customer was and how to serve them,” he said.

Many tech companies found ways to use the pandemic to accelerate their business plans and  demand for their products. Despite the pandemic, venture investment is pouring into new enterprises. Dozens of area companies have recently announced fresh capital raised and plans for aggressive growth.

Sorcero is transforming decision-making with a language intelligence platform designed specifically for life sciences. It empowers stakeholders with immediate access to credible insights to augment their expertise and, ultimately, improve patient outcomes.
